“A Cowboy’s Touch” by Denise Hunter

Abigail Jones is a workaholic, her boss who is also her mother sends her away to spend the summer at Montana with her Aunt Lucy. Abigail needs a break from work even though she doesn’t want one. Wade Ryan owns the ranch were her Aunt Lucy lives. When his summer nanny cancels last-minute, Abigail volunteers to take care of his eleven year old daughter Maddy. Yet Abigail has no idea what she has gotten herself into. She finds out that Wade is actually famous, a star that disappeared after his wife’s death. When her mom’s magazine Viewpoint is said to be shutting down, Abigail thinks she can save it if she writes an article on Wade, can she bring herself to expose the man she falls in love with?

I guess I had greater expectations for this book, it was just okay for me. It was missing that spark, I kept reading and reading waiting for the good part to come, and honestly it never did. I knew exactly what was going to happen, no surprises, but it was a quick read, good time killer. If you like this book I recommend the movie 27 Dresses”.
